After creating many new recruitment operations for a national recruitment company but never truly getting the rewards he deserved, Jason decided to utilise his 15 years of recruitment experience at senior level of working within the manufacturing, construction and technical market sectors to create his own brand. The initial challenges were cash flow, restrictive covenants from the previous employer and convincing potential clients not only to try a new company but to believe and put trust into a small independent company that could not only match but better the service given by larger recruitment companies. The focus on business development was incredibly strong and with long standing client relationships built up over many previous years, the company started to increase its market share of the business and grew accounts to vast levels, often reaching 100 plus temporary workers at individual client sites. This then enabled it to concentrate its efforts on helping the customer to fulfil their obligations of deadlines, quality and quantity.

The Paramount team have a positive an opportunistic vision and have capitalised on the tough economic climate by chiselling out the companies that were remaining busy and providing them with a bespoke cost effective and flexible service to utilise within their business. The Future

Its strategy is to create an apprenticeship scheme from the head office in Cardiff office which has the facilities to train new recruits to the highest standards of excellence and ultimately ensure they obtain the REC qualification which is the governing body of the recruitment industry. Paramount is also investing to improve its in-house software which is crucial in order to deliver better efficiencies to clients and candidates. It is also committed to quality and will focus efforts to achieve a quality standard for policy and procedures. The creation of 3 new offices over the next 2 years within the UK will enable Paramount to provide recruitment services on a national basis to many of local welsh companies that have additional sites within the UK.
