The main motivator in the organisation is to provide a comprehensive service to customers whilst providing value for money. Indigo is not the cheapest in the marketplace, but its service levels are unrivalled. The main challenges in the early years was securing enough funding to feed the company’s growth – this is specifically due to the nature of the industry whereby Indigo purchases vast amounts of fixed assets and then rents the equipment back to the client along with a service agreement. A great deal of financial organisation simply could not see the need for a new player into the marketplace stating that it was already dominated by three major organisations. Today, Indigo’s success is testimony that customers value quality of service and transparency over price.

The three main factors which have helped to grow the company are successful and motivated co-workers; never giving up and self belief in the company its services and products.

The Future

Indigo aims to launch of several new divisions to provide synergistical services to clients including confidential waste & data destruction division, specific waste management division; and a hazardous waste management division.
