Draig Personnel

Origins

The company was established in 199 by the managing director, Ross Davies, and the company secretary, Miss Claire Davies. Ross had a number of years experience at senior management level in the recruitment industry and recognised the opportunity to establish and develop a recruitment organisation that based its entire success upon the delivery of a first class service to both the client companies and candidates. As a result, Ross raised a considerable amount of funding to start the business as he was determined to improve upon the services offered to businesses by existing recruitment organisations in South Wales. The company faced numerous challenges when it was first started including that of gaining the trsut of businesses, especially the larger ones, in order to become involved with their recruitment campaigns. It also faced major challenges from the many more established and larger recruitment organisations operating in the region. Establishing a reputation of being committed to providing its candidates with the very best overall recruitment service was also a major challenge for the business in its early days. The business has since become almost a household name in some parts of South Wales when it comes to finding people suitable employment. Another major challenge was ensuring that each and every client of the business consistently received the highest levels of on-going support with a very small team of employees at the business. Some clients were in need of constant 24 hour support and the MD would regularly be called on site at all times of day and night to resolve staffing requirements on behalf of clients.

Success Factor

The three key factors that have led to the growth of the company are sheer determination and extreme effort to ensure success, the total commitment to the provision of quality but cost-effective service to both candidate and client companies, and the proactive style of business management of the managing director.

The Future

The company aims to maximise the profitability of the business without compromising on the service it delivers to its customers, to continue to provide the highest levels of quality service and to build upon its client base of satisfied customers, and to grow the business organically and via acquisition to achieve a network of branches strategically sited throughout the UK.
